As part of the two-week long promotion of ‘my story’ in partnership with Versus Arthritis, I was recently interviewed by the Eastern Daily Press.
The article, which can also be found in the Norwich Evening News and Wymondham and Attleborough Mercury, is out now.
Read here: 24 year battle with painful arthritis
I found this one a little more daunting being my regional paper. There are still big groups of people in my life that have no idea of my disability. However, I thought it was a really well written piece by Lauren Cope that really focused on the challenges of living with arthritis. Especially at a time when it would have been so easy to focus on isolation and Covid-19.
I hope you find it interesting and that it reassures others that they are not alone. Ultimately, I hope it raises awareness of the realities of living with arthritis.
I hope to announce a few more awareness pieces like this next week.
Moved by the story Joel. Here’s to a bit of wind at your back.
Thank you for taking the time to read and comment David, means a great deal. Especially from a blogger I hold in such high esteem. Perhaps the highest.
Thank you Joel. You story needs to be read and heard. Keeps the rest of us from bellyaching about scratches in comparison.
